Jukebox is a South African music performance and storytelling platform created by Subliminal Visuals and distributed through Channel O. Built at the intersection of music, visual culture, and youth expression, the platform showcases emerging and established artists through cinematic live performances, immersive visuals, and authentic storytelling.
Designed to feel raw, premium, and culturally connected, Jukebox captures the energy of South Africa’s evolving music scene across Hip Hop, Amapiano, Afro Beats, and alternative sounds. Each episode blends performance, atmosphere, fashion, and emotion to create a unique viewing experience that goes beyond traditional music television.
More than just a show, Jukebox is a growing cultural IP focused on artist discovery, creative collaboration, and documenting the next generation of African music culture.
Jukebox Behind the scenes was built through a collaborative creative process focused on capturing brands authentically through artist moments both on and off camera. From set preparation and lighting design to styling and spontaneous interactions, the production environment was designed to feel organic, energetic, and artist-driven.
